Recommending services: how an affiliate programme with transparent commissions works

In an affiliate recommendation, an independent partner introduces a suitable offer and receives a commission for a paid order attributed under the programme conditions. The customer orders from Bissolux and pays Bissolux. The partner therefore takes over neither the customer contract nor payment or service delivery. Registration or a click alone does not generate earnings.

A commission overview is not yet an invoice

German VAT legislation distinguishes a proper invoice from a mere overview. Settlement through a self-billed invoice issued by the recipient of the service requires prior agreement.

Context: The invoicing requirements and taxes applicable in an individual case depend, among other things, on the businesses and countries involved. A dashboard figure does not answer those questions.

Start with a suitable audience, not an arbitrary link

The Bissolux partner programme is intended for adults operating independently in business. In your application, introduce your website or channel and the topics on which you actually publish content. First consider the problem your audience wants to solve. A channel for self-employed people can explain the difference between a private email address and a configured business domain. An article for local trades businesses can show what information a company website needs. A technical publication can cover the prerequisites and limitations of GrapheneOS installation. A recommendation is understandable when it connects with that real question.

Explain the specific offer and its boundaries

Read the service page before recommending a package. A website package has an agreed page count and is not an unlimited development budget. For configured business mailboxes, the domain and ongoing provider charges remain separate costs. In advertising management, distinguish the advertising budget from the agency service. These limitations belong in the article whenever they materially affect the purchase decision.

Keep linked prices current. An older graphic with an outdated amount is particularly problematic when shared frequently. For changing offers, refer to the current product page and state when your own presentation was last checked. Claim a discount only when it is actually offered; a partner link is not automatically a discount code.

Understand the route from recommendation to attributed order

The approved partner link contains a partner identifier. It helps assign an order to the appropriate partner within the attribution process described. The attribution period, handling of multiple partner contacts and possible limitations appear in the participation conditions. Keep the link intact and check that it leads to the intended offer.

Attribution is not complete observation of the customer. Another browser, a device change, refusal of storage or deletion of stored information can prevent later recognition. Do not try to bypass such decisions through fingerprinting, hidden redirects or secretly placed identifiers. The customer must be able to shop normally without marketing consent.

Recommend the relevant package or product directly. Do not send prospects through several artificial intermediate pages merely to place an identifier. Your own test clicks are not evidence of customers. An order filled out by a partner or an unpaid reservation is not confirmed revenue either. For an attribution question, a factual message to support helps; collecting additional data belonging to other customers does not.

Separate revenue, the eligible calculation base and payable commission

Bissolux pays 20% on commission-eligible services and 5% on Pixel hardware. What matters is the eligible net amount actually received. VAT, shipping and refunds are excluded from the commission base. For recurring services, only the first payment counts; acquiring a customer does not create a lifetime revenue share. Settlement is in euros. For foreign-currency orders, the fixed conversion already agreed at ordering applies, not a daily rate chosen later.

Check your statement using the same terms: which order, which base, which rate, which status? A traceable correction is better than a large but unclear total. Commissions already paid may be adjusted following later eligible refunds. The precise treatment forms part of the participation conditions.

Organise invoices and questions as normal business transactions

A waiting period of 30 days applies after confirmed payment. Approved amounts can be paid from €50 through the monthly process on the basis of a valid partner invoice. Keep company details and a reachable contact address current. Supply sensitive payment or tax data only through the designated protected process. A public social-media profile is not a suitable place to store it.

The partner account provides an overview; it does not automatically determine your personal tax liability. Clarify with your tax adviser how to invoice the named contractual partner and whether particular details are required. Do not confuse a potentially taxable commission with a tax-free gift. The relevant authorities and your actual business circumstances are decisive.

Plan your work economically even when no commission has yet arisen. Writing, filming and updating take time. Start with a format you understand well professionally and observe genuine reader questions. A credible comparison with clear limitations is more useful over time than content intended only to maximise order value.

Apply with a specific idea for your audience

Describe the people you reach and which Bissolux service matches their needs. A small, professionally relevant audience can matter as much as a large channel. A verifiable business identity, transparent content and the proposed approach are decisive for review. This does not promise a minimum number of orders.

Frequently asked questions

Does the customer pay the partner?

No. The customer orders and pays Bissolux directly. Without separate authorisation, partners may neither accept payments for Bissolux nor conclude contracts in our name. Your remuneration arises separately from the customer's purchase under the programme conditions.

Do I earn money from a registration or a click?

No. Applications, link visits and recruiting additional partners are not remunerated. Eligible, attributed and actually paid customer orders, together with the other approval and payout conditions, are decisive.

Are monthly earnings guaranteed?

No. The programme promises no minimum earnings. A recommendation may produce no order; a paid order may later be refunded. Plan participation based on your own costs and the published conditions.
